Helpdesk Support Specialist (Intern)

Job Description: Benson Consulting & Development is seeking a Helpdesk Support Specialist (Intern) to join our team on a part-time basis. We are the driving force behind WiDEN, a business directory dedicated to fostering inclusivity and collaboration among ethnic and diverse businesses in Wisconsin. Our mission is to connect businesses and professionals, creating a more inclusive and collaborative business landscape.
Responsibilities:
• Support WiDEN members by answering questions and managing general inquiries.
• Handle hub entries and directory registrations for WiDEN platform users.
• Conduct technology training sessions for WiDEN community members and partners.
• Provide training and virtual info sessions for internal stakeholders and WiDEN users.
Qualifications:
• Strong communication, professional writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data communications or computer systems.
• General experience managing database entries and profile registrations.
• Must have an associate degree or some college experience.
• Consideration of qualified remote candidates must reside in Wisconsin.

Location: Wisconsin (remote candidates within Wisconsin considered)
Duration: Short-term 3-month assignment (opportunity to extend to based on performance evaluation)
Hours: Part-time, 10 - 20 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM CT)
Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly (based on experience)
